you
have to jump at the opportunity... a very clear night, just setting
up the 12 inch for deep sky, and checking Jupiter for a sky reading...
there was io and a shadow... the 300D is not really set up for
planetary, no mirror lock and so on, but with patience you can
do ok...
a stack of 5 exposures at f25 (2.5X Powermate), and asa 800 to
get the shutter speed up to 1/10th or so...
lynkeos to stack, photoshop to process. Not up to the webcam
stuff, but ok.. |
