M-101, full frame, 10x120 seconds, ASA 1600, mod 350d, 12 inch at f 5.9, unguided, first try

this is my first attempt with the new setup on a difficult subject... and, it proves to be. only 10 subs is not enough to eliminate the noise at 1600, 120 second subs ae about the minimum for such a low surface brightness, and I could learn to shoot more and better flat frames... all pretty obvious in the image. Taken on the 23rd of June, the sun was setting too slowly so I started the exposures well before optimum time... and so on...
